Well it is be simple spychology. Recently i read the book "How to get people to do stuff" And there were indeed quite good examples. As in the article cologne and dressing good and so on will get you close to people easier ofc depending on enldless factors like in everything. From there you can start build up the trust and affection little by little.

But its a good book and only 165 pages long so i really suggest you should read it for even the fun of it. You can find it in .pdf online or ofc you can support the author and buy it.
