what is etsy ? can u plz explain me about that ?

Yes Etsy is an untapped goldmine. So many things one can do on there to make some serious money. The site has so many networking features that its hard not to make sales there.
What sort of thing are you thinking about when it comes to Etsy? Do you want to start a shop there or are you looking to market to it's members?
Etsy is a marketplace like eBay and Amazon except its primarily for handmade goods and crafts and higher prices jewelry items.
When it had its IPO it was valued at over $3,000,000,000 surprised you have not heard of it.
So what should I sell there? What are the strategy of working there? Im familiar with ebay and Amazon but never did anything with Etsy

Etsy is awesome.
Honestly, I love the platform and never would have thought it'd be one of my top earning revenue streams. Technically, Mrs. NoHypeNeeded runs the Etsy shop and sells her paintings, handmade jewelry, and old/vintage jewelry. She's a fucking beast though and has really been killing it on the platform, sometimes pulling in $500+/week (our best week was like $700 which was pretty cool).
I say this not to brag or kiss her ass (although it's for sure a nice ass) but because it's for sure something I recommend to anyone getting involved in E-Commerce. It's a very simple platform to understand and the potential is huge. She really just promotes the Etsy shop on Instagram, a little Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. We of course took the time to make sure we had proper product titles/descriptions and paid close attention to 'Etsy SEO' which is really important. Do what's called 'Shop Updates' every day and again for sure pay attention to your keywords in your descriptions.

Glad to see there are people here on BHW that actually use Etsy. Congratulations to you and your wife for creating a nice steady stream of income on there. Etsy used to be our main source of income a few years ago. Via our Etsy consulting and affiliate marketing it still accounts for over half our income even without having a shop there anymore. Our best day was $3,200 and best week was just over $5k that month I think we took over 16k. That is revenue and not straight profit. At least with the IM and affiliate stuff we are not having to create anything or do half as much work as we had to running the shop. It was just my wife and I running it so we got kind of burned out if I am honest. Its hard work running a full time shop where you can never take a day off.
Take a look at the site to get an idea of what to sell. If you don't already have something in mind then you are not ready. Asking people what to sell is not really going to get you anywhere. If you dont already know that part you are not ready for Etsy.
Maybe Im not ready for Etsy but maybe I am.. The first thing I need to know is what its all about
I know its about selling hand made things more personal than machines.. BUT I really dont know much if you put this aside
For example you said you sold there well - what did you sell there - Was it something you made or did you dropship from someone else?
I mean in order to enter or rule out Etsy I need to know more about what goes well there and what doesnt - Dropshipping or selling my own?
For example my wife is a graphic designer and has her own template of beautiful things like pictures that were made from drawings and some baby related stuff - Is it something that can go well there?
How do you promote your products - Do you use certain keywords like Ebay do you use Etsy`s advertising or out of Etsy Advertising?
What Im saying is that I have 0 knowledge about Etsy and would like to get some from someone that has had an experience there

when you go to Etsy, look at the number of items sold... there are some big numbers and there is no reason you cant do the same
You can advertise wherever you want, even on Etsy
They have lots of tutorials be sure to read them

I also use etsy and its great. You can pull $500 a week if you know what you are doing. Yes you can drop ship but your clients expect handmade items. So your shop would suffer in reviews if shipping takes forever or you arent able to customize orders.

I use etsy now for some time. We had made a shop, but didn't made anything with it and we started to do smth more active few months ago. Dunno what my problem is but still we are not selling so much there, even now, while we are using Google shopping ads, despite the fact that my home country market and sellings are really high. Our products are in the first page with the keyword, but still it's hard to sell. Don't know what is wrong with my shop. Maybe here someone could write me a PM for a small discussion what I could do different to boost up sales. But etsy is great platform to sell handmade stuff. Cheers!
