Etsy SEO and ranking

Been reading through some of the threads about ranking on 1st page of Etsy. Apart from usual stuff like getting keywords right,etc, any known blackhat methods.

Do page clickers work, building links to Etsy pages etc??

Building links to Etsy pages won't do anything because has its own algorithm.

I would suggest going for influencer marketing because that's how you can drive external traffic to your Etsy store.

Yes that's one way, just wondering how it's done in other ways, there is a service on here that seems to work, so I'm always interested in how they achieve the rankings.

I wonder if Etsy algo has the "amount of times a page is viewed" built into the algo, so maybe a page clicker with proxies may boost the ranking.

I know if u favourite the pages from different accounts seems to work.
 
Relevancy plays a major role when it comes to etsy. Your title, tags and description must match the keyword. Also avoid using the keywords too much.

Also etsy checks a few other factors like front load listing keywords. Etsy also checks the user experience, so yeah your etsy algo proxy system may work.

I think this is how the ranking service on here does it, and also how they can say it works at the beginning.

i am under the impression the favorites only count from search queries which then boosts that query only.
