Etsy Deposit Money Question

Hi everyone I had a question to anyone who has been around on Etsy before or knows smth about it, Etsy recently suspended my other store and I created a new one with new bank information but my bank name I filled in does not match my IBAN will Etsy still deposit my money or will there be any issues? Because I don't think my EU bank checks whether IBAN and name matches when you get a payment.

Some banks are stricter with that, some are not. I have already received payments and deposits even when the name doesn't match with the IBAN number. But sometimes it doesn't work. You will need to wait or check it with your own bank to see if they are strict about it or not.

IBAN is an important aspect. I believe you should contact bank or etsy support. They will give you a better idea

I think this depends more on your bank. I don't think it would have been a big problem if you used your correct name even with the suspended store, but either option implies some risk. As you have already done it, just wait and see what happens and hope for the best.

It depends solely on the bank. As stated above, it is up to your bank to accept or reject the transfer depends on their rules, and Etsy has no way of checking whose name the bank is in.
