Im wondering what Etsy does to see account is from the same user. I actually relocated cities (not because of Etsy), got a new ISP (so new IP addy), cleared all cookies, temp files, cache, etc. Got a new bank account and debt card, new email. The ONLY thing is I entered the same last 4 of my social ( I shouldve used my fiances) but there are plenty of people who have the same "last" 4 of a social. The only thing I didnt do was change the location of where my pictures that I upload were. They are on my desktop in thier own folder. Could this have given it away? So now Im deciding if I just pay an additional $30 a month for a new ISP (keep my current one and just add another), transfer all my inventory pictures to my laptop (which I have never used to connect to Etsy), use all of my fiances bank info and social (which have never been used on Etsy) and create a new email. Do you think this will work? Do you think they have somkeone who actually "looks" at the inventory you sell and see's if its the same pictures from previous account because that I can't change. I take pictures of my inventory and then ship it out so there is no way to retake pictures. I would only go through this much hastle because losing Etsy took a significant hit to my side money. I was making roughly $1000 a week in profits. I got 3 copyright infringments ( i sell custom shoes) and the artist had me take them down (Beyonce, Selena and Bruce Lee) so this time around I just wont do artist customs. Ill just focus on the other items. I was under the impression that as long as I didnt relist those same items I would be ok but Etsy suspended my account. I have over 7000 followers, 20+ feedback (ALL positive) and over 200 sales within 3 months. Thats why this is pretty important to me. Thanks for any info.
