So why no people in the $x,xxx, xxx, xxx, xxx net worth range around if you can make money by predicting things/remote viewing?
WOW! That's amazing, before i even logged into BHW i knew you were going to say that, what's the odds of that happening?Hey guys, I had a bit of a weird question today that I was hoping you could help me out on. To make it short, is it ethical to gamble if you are able to know to some degree of accuracy whether or not you're going to win?
A lot of people don't know this about me but I am a gambler at heart. That's how I live my life and I love it. To me it's not the payoff, it's the adrenaline. I play basically anything that tickles my fancy, but...
I guess the only thing I can say is that somewhere along the way, I found out I have a bit of an edge over people. I'm just a little bit better, a little bit more lucky and a little bit faster than I should be at my skill level. It's not 100% obviously - very, very few people are anywhere near that good - but it's enough so that I generally end up making money instead of losing it when - for example - I play poker. I hardly know shit about hands, probabilities, etc... (to be honest, basically nothing) but I get a feeling in my gut sometimes when something is wrong vs when I know I won. I get greedy sometimes but if I just listen it usually goes my way.
I know I've generated some minor psi abilities over time, but I'm wondering if this would be considered cheating? I mean how different is it from someone who spends hours studying various strategies vs me - who basically meditates for hours and goes by intuition? Any thoughts?
This was good info, until you came to the powerball stuff.I'm a big fan of Thomas Campbell's - My Big TOE theory. www.mybigtoe.com, he lays out a digital model of the universe and it's quite simple too. There could be a number of things going on here: either you are accessing information from the future probability database, if you have practiced for years then you are probably pretty good at it. Or you might also be changing the future probabilities with intention, such as making a dice come up a certain number. Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research ( http://www.princeton.edu/~pear/) has done some impeccable science of the effects of intention in the physical world. It's essentially a scientific fact based up on their cumulative research.
In Thomas Campbell's theory, he has something he calls the "Psy uncertainty principle." Which basically says: if there is enough plausible deniability and the intention is good, then Psy effects (breaking the objective casual rules of this virtual reality) will be permitted. Notice your examples were about winning a few shekels here or there on card games. This is OK and generally adds to your learning experience. If you start thinking yourself to be all high and mighty you are likely to be given MIS-information from your intuition to bring you down a few pegs. Also, notice that you haven't hit it big on the Powerball from your intuitive skills, nor has any other psychic. There is very good reason for this: The goal of life is not to make lots of money, and if someone comes into a lot of money in a way like this it will completely change the learning experiences available for that particular lifetime. This is why many psychics who are able to give quality information in unsolved police cases (a good reason why to get information) are not winning the loto (a bad reason why to get information).
You won't be doing much harm by having some fun changing probabilities here or there, or accessing information from the databases doing what you're doing now. So have fun and learn that the reality we live in is much larger than the current cultural consensus believes!
ESP isn't 100%. I told u very few people are able to do that. She continues to play but hasn't won since that one time and played lots of times before winning.
goal in life is not to make money, why are you on a money making site?

I wish people would do their own research. HEAPS of people have won the lottery using the law of attraction - look up Cynthia Stafford.
I agree with you on a lot of things man, but on some we disagree. Now I agree that using spirituality to make money is a bit of corruption and that's not my goal at all - but on the other hand as long as I'm not intentionally hurting someone, I don't see what the problem is if it's just to make money to survive. I never have and never will sell spiritual knowledge though - magick is free and it belongs to everyone and no one at the same time.I'd say the winners are pretty well accounted for in the range of expected probabilities. Let's say 1,000,000 people are trying to win the Powerball using psychic intention. The truth is everyone who buys a ticket is using intention to effect the future probabilities, some are more skilled than others to be expected. Over a period of 30 years. It's likely that a few are going to hit. But don't let me stop you from trying.
That being said, I've also heard the story of the man who used the law of attraction to get a $1,000,000. He envisioned his check so clearly day after day, even down to seeing the dark grey suit the man handing him the check was wearing. It was so vivid. Unfortunately, the man suffered a terrible tragedy. A car accident killing his wife and children. At their funerals, the man received his check for $1,000,000 just as he envisioned, the life insurance payment from the death of his family.
