Hi all, most of you already know that Bitcoin and Ethereum are the top 2 cryptos. Many of you also know that Ethereum has been performing better that Bitcoin in terms of % growth.

However, what most of you haven't realised is the explosive growth that Ethereum is going to have over the next few years. There are 2 main reasons for this:

1. Ethereum 2.0 is coming next year and this will result in cheaper and faster transactions along with many other benefits.

2. Many new and promising cryptos are built on a layer of the Ethereum network. As they become more popular, it will indirectly increase Ethereum's demand and price.

Ethereum has a bright future and this is the perfect time to get in/buy more!

Transaction fees are still too high on Ethereum.

I think they will keep their positions only because of market dominance and awareness.

Ethereum 2.0 will greatly reduce transaction fees.

I've been hearing for years that Ethereum 2.0 is almost ready. It just keeps getting delayed. I just have to see if they all work out. Personally, I think it's all too extensive, too many functions and possibilities. Because of this, it will always be full of bugs. But we'll see.

The only reason why I use BNB or LTC instead of ETH is the transaction fee. Hoping for it to go down significantly with ETH 2.0

It's happening in 2022 and gas fees will significantly reduce.

I don't expect Ethereum 2.0 coming before Q3 2022.
It can be anytime in 2022. The point is that once gas fee fall, Ethereum demand will skyrocket so it's better to buy now.

Been holding onto ETH from 2016 and 2017

Saw a roller coaster ride.

I still believe it will be the best performing crypto.

Until they fix the gas fees eth is pretty much useless. and thats coming from someone with stacked eth
they gotta fix this crap... lol ppl are paying $200 fees on 10$ transactions.. useless and ridiculous hopefully theyll fix it soon

Firstly, ethereum was a shitty project that has have a lot of innovation and this is good by one way, and a reason why is in the top, but we can´t forget what happened in 2016 with ethereum classic and the fork to ethereum.
The poeple think that ethereum 2.0 will be amazing, but take care.
Bitcoin has less "options" than ethereum, you don´t have smarts contracts for example, but things like this convert to bitcoin in more secure than ethereum. More options, more ways to break something.
I think ethereum have a good future, but you can´t forget that are other projects better than ethereum like Cardano, that have less innovation, but it is a much more solid project.

By the way, Charles Hoskinson left Ethereum and created Cardano because Buterin was an incompetent :)

They are struggling to transition from PoW to PoS for 5 years and they will do ETH 2.0 next year. That was a good joke.

Ethereum seems pretty stable, I have a fair few ADA as well which has seemed to die off a bit now but it will be interesting to see what the future holds.

$200 transaction fee is only a lot if you're poor

crypto whales are all using ethereum, not other chains. That should tell you something

Indeed.

Good point.

My dream is a world where ethereum is trading at $0
