Can Estimated search traffic from semrush be trusted? Is it accurate at all?

All tools like Semrush does traffic estimates based on the total traffic of that keyword and your position on Google. So yes it can be trusted but if you check your Google Analytic stats it can be a difference of 30-40%. But that is my personal experience.

It isn't accurate. For example, one of my client's legal niche site has 2.7K traffic as per SEMRush but it actually has 9.5K organic traffic as per GA.

some of the estimates are accurate, but I suspect it's pure coincidence...
Anyway, I remember that I've done keyword research in the Pregnancy niche about 2 years ago and I found some (10-11) long tail keywords that all had less than 50 monthly searches when analyzed with the keyword tool. But then, when I checked the SERPs with the competitor analysis tool I saw a site getting 16k visitors for one of those keywords
And it wasn't just this one example, I remember that many of these keywords with low monthly searches got 1000s of visitors a month in reality, I remember another one (ranked at #8 even) was getting 2.5k visitors for a 10 monthly searches keyword. It was really eye opening (and jaw-dropping too
)

SEMrush's traffic estimates are helpful but not always exact. You should also check actual traffic data from tools like Google Analytics for better accuracy.

Tools like Semrush and Ahrefs use different algorithms, so they may show different values compared to Google Analytics. This doesn’t mean they are inaccurate. If you want to see real-time data, it's best to check Google Analytics.

It's a very dangerous technique based on false assumptions. If you live false assumptions, falsehood, your life will collapse.
Buy cheap domains for $1 and do 1000 of them. Provide ux matching intent on each keyword. That's all. Get free linking from social media and other sites you make.
Use auction domains, not expired domains.
These are practices of black belt SEO.
Work on your vision and strategy, reason about next 20 years as that's how long you want to go to make it grow to maximum levels.
I am working on complex systems and strategies and I can tell you, a nice vision blows 99.9% of seo cheap tricks and metrics out. Do not listen to other people to get it all rolling.
If you need help, get professional business coaching and a psychologist to help you see your logical errors. Doing it alone without supervision causes so called burnouts.

No. There is a range of error of 20% to 1000%. I've done an analysis on many industries.
Sometimes they're messing with certain niches / industries / keywords clouds. Disaster.

Maybe, it's from my experience. Yes, it depends on industries. They just use their common algorithm.

It’s depends how frequently semrush bot crawl your site. Semeru show you pre loaded data. For accurate result you can check on google search console or analytics.

Yeah, you can trust the SEMRUSH results which is accurate compared to other tools.

Dude, you're probably posting in the wrong thread...
It has nothing to do with the websites,
Their data is based on search volume of keywords ranking in the SERPs,
It's about how frequently they scrape the SERPs and how fresh is the data
OP, to answer your question, Semrush is one of the best tools you can use for this,
It's not really accurate as pointed out by many other users, but it's better to have an estimate number than nothing,
Even Keyword Planner won't give you any accurate numbers, just a range which can get you less acuurate estimations in many cases,
You can add other tools to the mix to get mroe approx numbers, check the keywords using ahrefs & KW Planner as well and there you got more accurate
