Are there any recent sources to figure out how many % of clicks you can expect for a webpage based on its position in the SERPs?

Thanks!

search on google about AOL leaked click throughs then you will get an idea.

An idea is what I'm looking for, but that's old data. It may lead to more recent studies though, so thanks very much!

its 40+% for 1st
25-30% for 2nd
15-20 for 3rd
etc
etc
2-3%for 8th, 9th and 10th

oh btw, its better to be 10th than 9th ;)

What toples said, but i think it also depends on the niche and keyword....but on average it's as toples said

I'm not sure if this is 'outdated' or not. Though I suspect people, being people still click in roughly the same way...

I do agree with the numbers which Toples posted, but you can also manipulate the whole thing with the title, author pictures and stars in the serps.

People just love to click on something which stands out, and you can do that with:

- stars listed below your link in SERPS
- author picture in front of your link
- good formed title and description

One of my sites was making more money when was ranked 6th. Now is ranked 1st and it's making not so much as when it was raked 6th. This is a coupon site.
