Estimate a website's adsense revenue

Hello everybody,

when we aim to start a new project, we wish we have a detailed idea about it, about the market, the competitors so we know if it will be a good idea to start working or just a time lost.

There is a lot to do in the search step (keywords, traffic, backlinks, etc) but i've never met an article or a thread about estimating the revenue of a competitor's website. Is there any tool or thing to do that gives me an idea about that ?

Estimating revenue is quite hard to do because is a guess for a future event. That's why you won't find "accurate" data about the "future".

The only thing you can do is to find statistics on adsense about your niche/industry and about your demographic (for clicks, impressions from one country you will get more than for clicks from another country).

There are definitely many websites that could estimate the earnings of a website. But the results are usually quite different with the reality (in my case). For example, maybe google: "website worth".

There is no 3rd party tool that will be able to accurately estimate your competitor's adsense earnings, as that is particularly governed by adsense, and only google or the account owner would know what sort of income, from what keyword, from what region (country), that he's earning from. But for estimates, then I think you can try using semrush to analyze the website - it gives a good overview on the earning potential, and the traffic estimation is quite good as well.
