establishing business credit?

Stop running around promoting wrong information, OP yes you can establish business credit i have done it with a number of LLC's i was suppose to write up a thread exactly how to do it, but i just been so busy. and if u want proof ill screen shot one of my business cards from staples BP etc..i never use my SSN for business purposes sit tight and ill write up a little something for you.

I'll run through a little kinda quick,

1. Must have a LLC or corp
2. You must have a DUNS Number (Duns & Bradstreet) google it
3. Understand what Net30, Net15 companies are and how to use them as tradelines to build your paydex score
4. Everything will take time it's not a overnight thing

I'll even teach you how how to rebuild your credit using passbook loans and tradelines...YES! piggybacking still works depends on what your trying to do with it.

Looking forward to that :)

You can do it. The key is to start small.

First, as others have suggested get a D&B number (DUNS). Other companies use this to track your credit history - also makes you look like a real company.
Second, try to establish accounts with local merchants and be sure they report to D&B.
Third, try to establish small credit accounts with companies like Staples, etc. Doesn't need to be a large credit line, but be sure to use it and pay it off every month. Fourth, talk to your bank about a secured credit card. After about 6-8 months you should have a pretty decent track record for you company and can try to go for other types of credit (Amex card, unsecured credit card, etc.).

Getting business credit is one of the easiest things to do, ill find some NET30 companies and net15 that pretty much what that means is this the company reports it to D&B on those days

If you're still trying to get business credit. I roll with a crew of guys and that's all they do is build offshore corps with business credit and sell them. We have a ebook and private forum that shows the basics of the process step by step to building business credit. Everything from Getting your Duns number to making your business appear bigger than it is. We also have a list of vendors that extend trade lines of credit to new businesses on Net 30 and how you can use these trade lines to double your limit in as little as a month. These guys breathe this shit and I've only been dealing with these guys for about a month and they are doing shit you wont see elsewhere on the net. PM me if you're interested in more info.

thats real interesting info do u have more detailed info how to get started on this thanks....

Dropped the idea of business credit after trying it years ago. Maybe the upcoming detailed thread will shed more light on this.

Can't remember which AMEX card but one of the business one's is pretty easy to get and could help you get established.

I started a new thread on the subject. I plan on expounding on and adding to what Green Goblin shared. Hopefully, he (any others familiar w/ the topic) will add to thread.

What income dos a company usually need for business credit if the owner has a bad credit score? I was looking at Sams' Club a few years ago and they required like $2 million in company revenue to not have your own credit score factored in.
