how longs a piece of string?

took my site 3 days, some people have trouble indexing there's in a over weeks. There is no clear cut timeframe.

It can take any amount of time but posting it on digg usually gets you indexed in a hour or 2.

Stick a xml sitemap in webmaster tools is probably the fastet way. Depends if your afraid to use WMT though.

does this indexing thing involves dependence on purity of content along with the rate you are uploading content on your site?​

my site got indexed after 5 days, even i ping, bookmarked, linked and submit to webmaster. my other sites got index in a day. so i guess no definite time...just cross your fingers.

Mine are usually overnight. I've never had one that's taken longer than 24 hours. Like what Milian said, I submit my sitemap straight away as soon as I've submitted it to Webmaster Tools.
