Escrow Alternatives?

Hi all,

I'm planning to sell my website (expecting low $xxxx) and currently researching for relatively safer payment method for both the buyer and me. Unfortunately escrow.com is not available in my country, so I'm looking for some alternatives, please share your thought.

Btw, does sites like ecop, escrowdns or even elance's escrow can handle website sales? is it safe?

You can try Transpact.
They are much more international, secure, and also much lower cost.

See the Countries link at the foot of their homepage for details of countries they work with (you don't mention which country you bank in or are in).

You don't necessarily have to hire an online escrow company although it would be easier in your situation. If you had a local escrow company they would still be able to handle an international transaction.

Sedo also have their own escrow which works even for transactions made not through them.
