Error after transfer of account to Linux server

hello,
On Saturday I transfer account to LINUX from WINDOW server, my webhost support team do every thing, but today I got error on that when I give address hxxp://breakingnews24hrs.net it got default page of server, but on using any proxy I got my website
I consult about it to support team they said me, change index.php to index.html by giving reason that LINUX server easily detected the index.html page

How can It possible
Wordpress has this option

Do you have both an index.html and an index.php? If so, delete the index.html and apache will automatically look for index.php instead.

It sounds like the support team at your new host sucks!

If you transfered the blog from only 1 day or less, make sure that your DNS cach is clean.
Try to remove all the cookies/temp files and flash your dns (ipconfig/flushdns). Then try again without proxy.
