Try using a different administrator to add the tag, or try adding the tag using the ad manager on your phone.

Try using your card on another account and see how it goes. If the issue continues, it may be due to your card; otherwise, your account might be having a problem.

I tried changing the administrator to add the card but it didn't work. But then I changed the proxy and luckily, the card was added successfully.

Check your card to see if you have enough money, or see if you've enabled online payments, or you may have added this card to too many other advertising accounts.

This is a temporary issue; you can try again after 1 to 2 days, or change to a different administrator profile to add the payment card.

Sometime meta does that when you have used the card so many times or so many places inside meta and now the only solution is to just remove it from somewhere else and then try to add it

This is a common Meta payment lockout. It’s not an issue with your card—your ad account is temporarily restricted from making payments. Please don’t try again or switch cards. Just wait a bit, then pay the balance once it’s unlocked, or reach out to Meta support if needed.

Here's some hard-earned experience:
80% of the time, the problem isn't with the card itself → it's usually the card reader/slot/device that's "using" the card.
Don't format it on the device immediately → plug it into a computer and use a proper tool (SD Formatter).
Cheap cards + fake capacity = faster errors → buy from a reputable brand and a trustworthy seller.
