Equipment Advice.

I have a pretty outdated prebuilt pc that I got 6 years ago, my specs are gtx 950 and i5,I focus on the YouTube niche and I believe these specs aren’t very ideal for content creation but it gets the job done and I have zero plans of replacing anything up until this PC stops working completely

depends entirely on what youre doing
8gb of ram minimum. preferable 16gb.
sdd. depends on how many assets you plan on saving. 256 minimum but nice to have 512.
decent processor. its not much of a bottleneck these days.
i do most my work on an microsoft surface tablet. then i have a custom built workstation for when its time to run heavy software & multi-thread bots.
it's outdated too. built 10y ago. was top of the line back then. still fairly strong by todays standards. added more ram.
ask yourself if you want portability or are fine with a tower. then go from there.
laptops and tablets you can always plug into a larger monitor and add peripherals too.

My gtx 570 recently died so now I'm using integrated graphics. Still able to work fine

the display on tablet/laptops is small. buy a display port adapter. or maybe you already have an hdmi port. now you can plug it into your large monitor. or multiple monitors.
big screen size = more screen real estate
same with mouse/keyboard. some people like the one that's built into a tablet/laptop. i rather have the other kind.

It really depends in what you are trying to do, but the most affordable set up to get now days, is a motherboard with the socket lga 1150 I used a I7 3.60GHz and 16 Gb of ram, and is pretty good for working and gaming I can play most games in mid and low quality and adjusting the settings to get a little bit more of visuals that is for gaming my graphic card is a gtx1050 so I can ask for too much but for editing audio and video is good and can get the job done, for a desktop PC is really good for a 12 years old computer I believe and still a viable option because

I use a self built pc from 2016, i7 6700k, 16gb ram and gtx 1080ti, but planning to buy an ultrabook soon, for me it's the best thing for work that'll always be at hand

I use an Acer Slim, I love this beast. These laptops are slim and fast asf. All the versions are good.
