Hi all. I'm rather new to the program and maybe lacking some information. Didn't find a lot of post about the ePN here (maybe there is a reason)...
Do you guys know if there is a way to validate or check if the links generated by the link generator are actually working?
There is post from 2008 suggest a "Link Validator" (if you google ePN link validator you find it), but i can't find it anywhere in my publisher area.
The reason that I'm asking is that i had some success with other affiliate networks (similar to ePN) and ebay just seems like it is broken or something at the moment.
Usually when i get 20,000 visitors to my website it translates to about 3,000 "clicks" to the merchant website (the one I am affiliate with).
In ebay's case - the first time i ever promoted a website with ePN links in it (and only ePN) it worked well. ~20,000 translated to ~2500. but from that moment forward it just went down hill
3,000 visitors - no clicks
1,900 visitors - 32 clicks
between the 27 and 28 of January i had ~12,000 visitors and it translated to ~250 "clicks"
WTF?
All the visitors are unique visitors, not bots or anything like that. I promote my website on various social network pages that I own (together forming about 1 mil followers)
A quick look up of my links seems fine. The Campaign ID is right, if i click the link it takes me to where it is supposed to, there are no errors...
Any advice would be appreciated!
