I was testing negative SEO on my website, disavow didn't help. Site is burried deep since 1 year.

It's a shame what Google has lead to. Since the Penguin update has come, there has been more and more noise about negative SEO.

1) they blackmail you
2) you may pay, but they may do negative seo on your site still? How could you trust them ? They are blackmailers!
If you search the site (negativeseo) on whois domain tools, you can find interesting informations.
And give the email to relevant authorities, it may serve.

What a mess, Google's Penguin update has got a lot to answer for.
And the SERP's were better before it rolled out IMHO.

After you disavow the links you have to send in a reconsideration request and wait for them to respond.

I don't think new laws would be needed.
His is trying to obtain money through threats which would be considered extortion in most countries.

But as I always say - measuring website quality by backlinks quality is the worst idea ever. That's why google sucks so much right now. They don't care since people buy AdWords - that's their plan, but it's just a matter of time, when people will realize that there's nothing left in organic results. Everything had "innatural links"

If the guy who sent that email to the article writer is the same guy who sent op that email, then I can trace him down easily.
He happens to live in Duttpukur and we have our own house there.
