Epic Make Money Online Methods

I'm bored...

Years ago when I first got online I downloaded a bajillion ebooks and courses and guides and methods about making money online. So what I'm gonna do is go through random ebooks I have and outline the methods I find in them. Could be a super waste of time, I don't know, but I'm super bored and it seems like a fun thing to do.

So here we go, first one - A d f l y money macnine

It's a simple in-depth guide, the guy says as his opening line. Sounds hot.

1) You sign up to a d f l y and youtube

2) You go to some sites that don't exist anymore and you check their latest music news. You look for the famous ones, like eminem, lady gaga, 50 cents (he actually wrote 50 cents ). The more famous the artist the more money you'll make, the ebook says. You're basically collecting newly released hot songs.

The ebook says that the key to this method is speed, persistence and consistency. That’s all. Sounds good to me.

3) Now you go to youtube to see if any of the tracks have already been uploaded. You download the video, and you upload it on your own youtube channel. The ebook says to trust it, you don't have to be first, you only have to be the best. So you have to reproduce the video and add instructions at the beginning and the end of the video suggesting to viewers there are goodies to be found in the description they do not want to miss out on. You can do this in movie maker easily, the ebooks says. This works really well and explodes your earnings. Trust me on this one, the ebook says.

The ebooks recomments you reproduce the video, but if you have a super slow computer the guy says never mind, because you don't want to miss the opportunity to be early.

4) Now your videos are uploaded and probably don't show up for a while. This is common, there is often a gap between videos being uploaded and hitting search page. Despite knowing this, you must not rest on your laurels. If you're gonna bank with this, video must rank high on the most popular search terms for the song. The first step is to title the video extremely similar or exactly as the most popular search term for it.

Ok, so let’s say you uploaded a Lil Wayne track titled – “That’s what they call me”. Fittingly you should title your video – “Lil Wayne – That’s what they call me [2011 NEW SONG]” or something along those lines! The most popular search term is included – “Lil wayne that’s what they call me”, and the “[2011 NEW SONG]” bit makes your video stand out from the others that might employ your strategy too. What you fit into those braces could spell dessert or disaster so choose appropriately.

Also put a few relevant tags in there. He doesn't think tags are very important as he sees video ranking without them, but title is most important, so choose your priorities well.

5) So now you have to post a link to your video on music forums like Digital Spy and Buzz Jack. These sites probably don't exist anymore, I don't know. The idea is you get views on a newly uploaded video quickly and Youtube takes the hint the video is popular and ranks it well.

6) So now you're dominating Youtube and getting traffic and views are rolling in. If you didn't edit your video to include instructions for people to check the description to get stuff, you can use annotations. But it's better to edit the video, it appears more legit if instructions are in the video. Now you find something related to the song, some crazy new story, like if it's a Chris Brown video you get a story of him beating up his girlfriend, or beating on his girlfriend, or if its lady gaga you get a story of her having intercourse with a horse, or something people may want to check out. Now you shorten that link, or maybe a Youtube video that talks about the news story, with a d f l y. You put the link in the description of your video.

And that's that. Your video is ranking and getting views, your link is getting clicked, and you're on your way to competing with the likes of Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.

Our first adsense attempt was a failure, so now we have - Adsense Arsenal

This one claims to teach you how to make money with adsense without relying on google rankings and seo. It teaches you how to drive traffic. Okay, I'm game.

1) How much you're gonna make depends on you. It comes down to how many sites you have and how you monetize them. He's used 2 basic ways to monetize, both requiring adsense. One method is earning from adsense ads, the other is flipping the sites (which i assume we'll be creating). Once a site is earning consistently you can easily flip them for 10x revenue, if you have a killer sales page, in the ballpark of 12x-16x, the ebooks claims. Following this method the guy has been able to average a site $25 per month.

2) So you buy a domain name, put wordpress on it, and statcounter or google analytics to track traffic

3) You need an adsense account. If you have one great, if not then build your site and apply for one

4) He says some site called SocialADR.com. He says it's crucial for promoting the sites, and it's free. We'll get to it later, he says.

5) A social media submitted account is needed. He says he uses OnlyWire. But there are also some free ones. We'll get to this later.

6) We also need content

That's it...

7) He says we need to do research. Very important. This will determine if we have a site that earns or not later. Finding great keywords and domain will pay off. We're not just focused on search volume. Keyword research is crucial. We're not focusing on search volume, but primarily on CPC advertising. He looks for keywords that have minimum $5 CPC. Obviously the higher the better, but he sets $5 CPC as minimum. For searches he looks for sites that have minimum 590 local exact monthly searches. Another important ingredient is competition. In the filtering parameters he ensures that he is only looking for advertiser competition marked "high." Having high advertiser competition means finding more competitive niches for advertisers which ensures click values stay high.

You harvest keywords according to those parameters and save in txt file. He explains and shows screenshot on how to do it, but fuck it it's too long. The point is now you have a bunch of keywords that fit your criteria.

8) Now you search for exact match domain for these keywords. Use godaddy bulk domain tool, allows up to 500 domain searches at a time. You look for .com, .net and .org. Save the ones that are available in a spreadsheet. Now remove potentially copyrighted or trademarked ones. Also remove ones based on a trend, and ones based on a date, and ones based on a specific time of year. We want evergreen ones, like bestcleaningsupplies.com or howtoremovedust.com.

9) Now you're left with list of keywords with associated domains that match your criteria, and you go to adwords tool and paste all the keywords in, click "Exact" on the left and then select all the keywords. Then go to "keywords" and select "my keyword ideas" and click download. Then open that spreadsheet and copy the column that has Cost Per Click and associate them with keyword and domain.

Now you can choose the right keyword/domain combo that has highest CPC.

10) This is very important part of research. Now you have a list of keywords you know advertisers are paying top dollar for and a list of domains to build a micro niche sites around. But many forget what kind of ads are actually going to show on the site. So you go to some site that has some sandbox, and you put your keyword, and you can see the type of ads that will most likely fill up your website. We want ads where advertisers are selling some product or service, because these ads pay top dollar. We don't want ads that link to informational websites. Click through the ads and see what they have to offer. Is it shopping or cooking recipe website? Remove any dud domains from your list that just don't show "Buying" ads.

11) So you register the domains, and make wordpress sites, and outsource content asap. He recommends not exceeding 2% keyword density to not get penalized for over-optimizing (even though we don't rely on google for traffic, many sites will rank). For starters outsource 3 articles, each targeting your main money keyword (the domain name).

12) While waiting for the articles, make your wordpress site, get a nice theme, change tagline and use your keyword in it, change permalink structure to post name. Install seo plugin. Install plugin that allows you easily put adsense ads on site. Install social sharing plugin. Now put your adsense id in the adsense plugin, put your ads as top right alignment, so they will show on top right of your posts. Do this for single posts. Also get your skyscraper ad from adsense, put it in sidebar. Also add tracking with statcounter or google analytics to monitor progress. Also add an "about" page to your site.

13) Now your site is ready. You get your content and you want to add all 3 articles to the site immediately. Add royalty free images to your posts. Add images a few paragraphs down so as to not disturb the ads in your posts. In the posts use your main money keyword as category and tag for the post. Also add the same in your SEO plugin options for the post. Do this for all 3 posts. Put your post links in excel file.

14) Now, promotion. First is social media using SocialADR site mentioned before. And it's free. He says this site allows you to submit your posts and other people will consistently spread the posts for you generating backlinks and traffic. He says it's free, but recommends you sign up for $40 if you have more than 1 website because then it's easier to submit your sites and keywords and letting the submitter do the rest. I think he also includes his affiliate link for this website, so of course he'd like you to upgrade

Now also submit your pages to social media sites. He uses socialmerker and onlywire to do this. Honestly, I don't understand where he is submitting. Like, on whose social pages are the articles being shared on? Anyway, there you go. He says downside of social traffic is it won't last forever.

Part 2 of promotion is blog commenting on relevant blogs to your niche. He recommends using DropMyLink to find relevant blogs. The key to finding solid blogs to comment on is to keep your searches broad. Also search for blogs with "anchor text in comment blogs." Boom, you have tons of blogs to comment on. Blog commenting is very powerful, bla bla bla. Make sure to leave thoughtful and relevant comments. Make sure to embed a link back to one of your posts with your main keyword. We're not doing the commenting for seo purposes, but purely to drive traffic. This will generate highly targeted leads for your site permanently.

15) That's it. He says some of you may not be used to a site that gets only 20-25 clicks per day, but the flexsqueeze theme he mentions converts the traffic really well. And with all our front end research the site will be making $25/mo in no time. The traffic can spike for the first 90 days and then drop. So we should add more content to the blog and repeat the promotional methods mentioned above.

16) Scaling. We can scale in 2 ways. One is to add more content and use the promotions mentioned. The other is to make more websites. You can also use this to grow an authority site, but it will take some branding and whatnot. The guy prefers to just make more sites.

It's not great, but, it's not horrible. It's all right, I guess.

Well, I guess back when this ebook was written you could get away with it more easily and have video stay alive for longer.

Well, in all honesty, it's not that bad.

I mean, I'm sure someone will pop in and shit all over the method with valid points.

But the gist of it seems to be.

1) Find ads that have high CPC
2) Go with exact match domain and anchors
3) Drive traffic with social bookmarking/sharing and blog commenting
4) Rinse and repeat

I mean, it could work, I guess. Even if you get slapped by google for your exact match thing, you're not really banking on ranking.

The thing is that most ads nowadays are retarded ads so searching out high-cost keywords doesn't make sense when the visitor is retargeted for, let say, cheap makeup.

Next high paying keywords ranking with just social media links, really?

This method was good for 2008 and you should leave it there

Guys, you're not likely to get a method here that you can follow and bank. But what you may be able to find are little gems.

In the case of the first ebook, the whole posting videos on Youtube and putting link in description still works to make money.

In the case of the second one, maybe you never heard of DropMyLink. Shit, even I forgot about it. But it's a nice little tool to find blogs to comment on.

So little gems can be found. Cheers

Don't waste your time on those old methods, you don't even want to twist it.

Most of internet things get old pretty soon, and there are not even too many good "ebooks" , trash them, save yourself, no value.
