The benefit of getting paid through epassporte (say, from webcams.com or something) is pretty obvious - you get paid instantly, don't have to wait for a check in the mail, etc. Also, webcams only charges a $2.00 fee for epassporte as opposed to $1.50 for a check, which isn't too bad considering it's more convenient.

Looking at epassporte though, it looks like you have to pay $3.00 just to withdraw funds to your bank account, and even more if you want to load your Visa card from epassporte (which I probably won't even get because of those fees). So overall, that means $5.00 would be deducted from your earnings, as opposed to only $1.50 if you get the money via check. That's a difference of $3.50, which may not be big in the long run, but it is to someone new like me, and it would add up over time. If the $3.50 was only for convenience, I don't know if it would be worth it. But there might be other issues with checks - bouncing, getting lost in the mail? How often is that a problem?

Basically, is paying the extra fees indicated by epassporte worth it? Or is it better to wait for checks through the mail? Thanks :)

Yes, I think it is worth it. It takes weeks to get checks from Panama. Plus, they use to use a Canadian bank (don't know if they still do) which took extra time to clear a US bank. With epass just walk up to a ATM with the Visa card they send you and slam bam you have your money. And the money never hits your bank account to leave a trail for the tax authorities.
