Envato affiliate - is it worth it?

Envato is very popular this days, so many people already have an account there. Is it worth it to be an affiliate with them ? they pay only if a new member will register through affiliate link and buy a product.. They rank very high in google for almost all products, its really hard to outrank them.. can someone post any tips on how to have success as Envato affiliate ?

If you have a site that for example targets the WP themes niche, of course its worth it. I do not work with this niche but just a quick thought.
