Been quietly acquiring some good one word .eth domains lately. The ENS protocol looks (at least to me) to be the next big thing:

- Online identity (similar to current gaming tags)
- Easily receive payments (kinda like a Venmo username)
- sub-domains scalability

and more!

what are you guys thoughts on those?

Interesting. Do you have any strategy when buying? Most of the brands' names are already taken, I suppose getting a 1 to 2 word domains that make sense might be good.

Yeah, I’m mostly buying commonly used one word dictionary. So, they include:

- Cooldown.eth
- Nutritions.eth
- Drawback.eth
- Excuses.eth
- Cognacs.eth
- Insist.eth
- Odinson.eth (big marvel fan)

Nice collections.

I have been looking into decentralized domain name and hosting lately, they will be thee future of censorship-resistance websites like the tor network. Don't know why people are not into this yet.

Thank you! I've been adding a few more lately - especially last names (known last name from my local area) and 6-7 digits palindrome. I'm hoping to be able to grab a 4 digits at some point soon as well.

I'm thinking what if some registry applies for .eth, .x , .nft, .coin and other tlds from ICANN, then what would happen to those 'domains' which have been bought for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of crypto?

These games with reselling cryptodomains or jpegs for millions $ and all this hype, as long as there is a lot of extra liquidity looks like betting on red, black or zero =/

who is registry of these?

On the practical side, I prefer Unstoppable domains. No renewal fees and plenty of options to choose from not just .eth

But who knows, maybe .eth becomes a thing...
