English Spell Check People?

I wrote an eBook (well... re-wrote it from sites and other eBooks lol), and now I want someone to spell check it for me, grammar it, make sure it makes overall sense, etc. Is there like a service that I can go for? I'm not even sure what to search on Google?

No effence, but I don't want to use anyone from here (heared to many stories of people stealing stuff)

Go to fiverr. I'm sure someone will proof read everything. Or why not pay someone you can trust to do it?

I have an average of 450 words per page.
140 pages.

They want $1200 and 2 week turnaround time...

wow.

I'm a PhD student in Linguistics and willing to do it for half that. Unfortunately I am a newbie so I can't pm you. But I'm used to proof-reading students' papers, not to mention my own. And I don't steal. I'm such a noob I wouldn't even know what to do with it anyway!

Is it just spell check, or is it also grammar? I would charge around $5 a page for spelling, which is $700 for 140 pages, and $8 a page for grammar and spelling, so $1120.

I wouldn't consider that price to high... But it doesn't take 2 weeks... I could do around 5 days, if I did around 30 pages a day.

I can't PM, but for that much money, why the hell would I care about stealing the content?
