English content used to reference French site ?

    I was wondering, is it possible to use english contents to reference a french website ? Is it a problem ?
    If not, which precautions will I have to take ?

    there aren't any problems, what i don't know is if the backlink worth anything =/

    It's not a problem but if you can it's better do link french sites to french sites in terms of actually getting better rankings.

    That something that I've been wondering too.

    Until now, I never had to use SEO to make money online, but I wanna try to build some websites and rank them now.

    And I was wondering, if I use SB to get some backlinks from english blogs to a french blog, would it work? I mean, I don't think that Googlz translate keywords no? Will everything will be considered as non related content?
