Interesting. My engagement is still increasing. I wonder why there's a difference. Anyone have a theory?

yes, used to get 100 likes in the first hour, now its 40... what is IG doing?
 
My likes are through the roof! When you stop thinking about the likes, focus on engagement and the final product thats when you begin to grow for real . You have to put in some motivation towards the subject to make others enjoy it too.

IMO its a combination of the new algorithm, non chronological timelines, the addition of stories and throttling of accounts (esp IG business pages).

I'm really happy for people who are not having issues with engagements but the way Suckerberg is constantly messing with IG to maximize profits he's unquestionably effecting the way people are using Instagram.

Some people are gonna be more effected than others. Personally I think we will all continue to see more and more drops in engagement.

Just look at facebook...
 
I am so pissed I went from 10k likes to 2k likes it's two weeks now..I thought was because of the last updating...but I guess also the fact that people focus on seeing the instagram stories and that's it..but it's like my pic does not show up with all my followers but just a few

Anyway, FB is fucking us up with their new algo, and we all know FB owns IG now. So be prepared to get fucked by IG as well.

I asked of my friends who owns big pages (+1m) in the model/hot-girls niche and they have also seen a drop in likes per picture...
