Engagement Increasing Tips

I manage my company's niche account with 7300 followers and 1 update per day and it receives 110-150 likes per post and ~3-5 comments (some particular posts reach more than 50). So that's %1.5-2 engagement (like, comment, mention and tag) ratio.

- What is an acceptable engagement ratio?
- Any tips on increasing engagement

2% is too low
You can't do much, it's all about your followers activity. If they are not active or targeted to your niche, you can't do nothing.
Did you tried any eng. tips like "what do you think?" or "how many likes it deserve" etc.
It's bad for business, but you can try to see if there's will be any improve on your engag

2% is definitely too low.

I average about 10% engagement off my followers. So on a 1.5k account I get ~150 likes.

I'd like to add that; all the follower are real people and scraped from competitors or relevant accounts.

I'd say 10% is baseline. But it depends on how targetted your followers are. If all your followers like pictures of musical instruments and you post a cat, you'll probably get low engagement.

As noted, all the follower are real people and scraped from competitors or relevant accounts and all the posts are %100 focused.

Thanks, nice read. I'm doing pretty much all of those tips. I'm looking into contests with "most mentions in a month" as the "entry mechanism" and discount for our products as the prize.
