Encrypted link still shows hop link

I have not worked with click bank in a longtime but decided to start getting back into it. However, I noticed when I used the encrypted link and click on it I'm sent right to the site, but my hop link is still displayed at the top of the page.
Why is that? It did that for a few of the sites I was going to promote. Does it always do that?

It does that for most of the sites.

Why is that? Why would you want everyone seeing your Hoplink?
