It certainly is. Two of my friends are just paying the $25 basic membership to get quality backlinks to their business websites.

Run a mile and cut your losses? lol don't be so naive.

There's people making six figures per month, without having to create products, sales copy, setting up websites, handling customer support.

Please tell me the "plenty of better ways on here to make some money" - I'd love to hear what you have to say.

I was one of Empower network member, in starting i worked and got few leads as well, dave and dave are really impressive speakers, and i found one more guy interesting, who was speaking on lead generation etc.

so there is blogging platform which helps to blog, but basically its nothing then MU plateform which helps to a web presense for you... i quit it because paying money to get blogging plateform was useless stuff, i joined it for instant payment, but in starting i found there is too much problem in tracking things, even my leads were going someone else names...and i was getting paid for the people i never referred, even one of my lead were paying 2 times...LOL one time me, and other time someone else...

so there is software tracking problem in the starting...apart from this they didnt find good solution for murchant, they have used a company who were blocking account or not giving permission, after some time i got mail that they have sort out the problem and now every body can take instant payment...previously instant merchant was available for us people only....

so intitial state there were too many problems but dave come up with solutions and improved something... (at least they claimed they have improved things...) ..

i found mlm things are not for me ..so i quit..

so here is my advice if you are really going to work activly and bring members then you can make money with this otherwise dont waste your time...

I found one thing worthy ..if you are new to internet marketing then they are providing recorded training session..i m not referring weekly calls, talking about videos, i didnt remeber what they were calling but in starting they have released near 5-8 videso ..which were covering seo, marking, blogging, social marketing etc. things...they were revealing how IM gurus works..i like that stuff, but still i will not recommand anyone to go there just for that stuff as it is easily available here...if someone use search button above...

Oh really and how do they make money without doing anything? By selling subscriptions to others, which in turn sell subscriptions to even more people to earn back what they paid...

All I see is a killer conversion funnel. What swayed me was the video. Yeah, brainwashing stuff. Fuck, that's EXACTLY what I want to promote lol!

Oh yeah and look at this google trends chart. I'm sure MLM blows at the end when everyone knows the network already but right now its just climbing:

Converting traffic is the only thing that's needed, because the system sells for you.

I'm 100% sure the only way to succeed at this is with paid traffic. Looks like the pros are using co ops.

I am thinking of joining in the next days but still want to do consultations. It looks really promising but as what others say, it is mlm and it will take more time or work. Any cool ideas on how to go into such programs?

The only reason BHW members should join EN is in order to exploit the sales funnel. Let the owners of the site pump up your leads and you get the comissions. Ride the wave until it flops. The way they sell makes me want to puke but it seems to be pulling in every sucker!

Getting leads for this is so easy. Then follow up with email.

Well, I was on the second live event and the checks were even bigger. I know a lot of other affiliates and they're doing just fine. I got paid out all my money in time. Lower five-figures as of now and I started in August.

So what's a scam about it?

their sales funnel rocks man! and as usual, haters gonna hate..people hate on google adsense, including me, but the fact is that they still make billions of dollars. haters hate on empower network but the fact of the matter is that there are people making hundreds of thousands of dollars from it. so if it does not work for you, its just you, not the program.

Though my post is far newer than the other post. I wanted to share my experience with empower network, because I am currently an active affiliate.

First: The products are designed to teach business owners (of all genres) how to marketing their business online and offline. There is still a growing percentage of people who don't know how to market their business efficiently.

Secondly: I'm new to affiliate marketing and network marketing, and my results are 10 signups so far (4 months into the business). Moreover I spent most of my beginning, training and learning how to market. I think I'm pretty good now, considering I found this site, and I'm starting to understand seo, backlinking, and analytics.

Third: I think it's a great opportunity to not only learn how to market online, but meet great people and learn from them. Not to mention they have a awesome compensation plan, while you're learning!

I'm new to the site, and the MAIN REASON I joined this forum was to learn some additional ways to market Empower Network. So, it's ironic that I would find THIS thread A little bit about me... I've owned my owned mortgage/RE business for 7 years, made a A LOT of money, and after the market crash of 2008, I needed to find a way to replace, and even exceed that income (multiple six figures annually.) Did A TON of research... and someone tried to sell me on Empower months before I actually joined... and I turned my noise up...lol. How silly. In a way, it was good because IT MATTERS WHOSE TEAM YOU JOIN! That's the KEY with ANY SUCCESSFUL MLM or Internet Marketing Company.

By the way, my mentor/team leader made over $700,000 in Empower Network in just 28 days.... and had only been in the company for 4 months when he did it.

I think the key in this kind of biz is having the right powerline sponsor and referer, THEN big budget to buy quality solo ads (for getting traffic).
