Emotional people and crypto

You need to be very strong if you are into crypto. It Needs a big big heart.

It depends on your approach. For me it is an opportunity to make money (considering all the risks), but some people treat crypto as a slot machine. These people are not traders, or investors, but just gamblers. No analytics, no risk management, just a desire to make money.
And then they say that crypto is a scam.

It's not for the people that check their crypto balance every week.
It's for people that can afford to forget it for atleast 5+ years

my crypto portfolio has dropped to 30% of its original value. I'm not even emotional about it. I was willing to lose that money from the day 1. Still, I do not plan to sell anything o_O

Investing in anything, is only for those that can control their emotion.

Here is the top of coinmarketcap 5 years ago today. Only Steam, NXT and er obviously The DAO were bad calls for the time. Whats the saying about taking money from the impatient to give to the patient.

I like this. People invest what they can't afford on coins they don't research enough and call crypto a scam... I've often bought bitcoin to have crypto and looked into what coins are looking decent over the next while, get paid into bitcoin or that and exchange to whatever's looking fancy and chip away at it when cash is needed... Profit tends to follow still, then if needed swap to a stable or grow another pair of balls with the latest news behind you?

Only hassle is exchanging to bank, serious trouble with that and binance. Can't figure it out

investing in cryptocurrency isn't for the faint of heart

Buy low, sell high. Never chase, you'll get burned. Buy and hold when it's low. Just hold. If it's not money you can INVEST, then don't do it.

Yes, when you have invested in cryptocurrency and see green quotes , it seems to you that you are a cool investor with strong nerves. But when bitcoin loses in price after another tweet by Elon Musk, different thoughts come to mind... But obviously, the best strategy is HODL!

I clicked because i was intrigued by the title, but was disappointed by the content of the post.
