I am certain Google will block this soon... but you can search fo the emoji and embed it in titles, descriptions and URLs.

Appears to work with all emoji

But now all the SEOs will use emoji emphasis for "DUI Lawyer Los Angeles" where the CPC is usually $75... the visual call out is pure CTR advantage and it will effect ad CTR negatively.

Google isn't going to let it last. They will let you search but I bet it gets blocked from appearing in Title, description and URL.

I'm tempted to put it in the meta title on one of my sites to see if it improveds CTR, but I'm wondering if Big G might penalise me...

anybody know of any well ranked sites that are doing this?
 
this works best for like dating or sex sites. the heart emoji omgggggggggg
 
I don't think it shows up in Titles if you don't search it, but it seems to be showing up in descriptions.

AdWords appears to support them but I have doubts about getting ads with them approved.

I have an experiment up and running to rank a site with emoji in the title and meta descriptions. Will follow up with how it goes! :-)

My official test results are in... It took me 4 days to boost a page 2 URL to #4 on page 1. The page has emoji in the title and meta description AND both title and meta description appeared in the SERP result. DiMaster and Azurous are correct that Google strips out the emoji unless you search for the emoji.

So no exploit... :( my bad. Sorry.
 
yeah i just tried putting into an ad on adwords, and it wont allow it LOL..
