I have a daut caum emd that gets over 22k global and 18k local exact monthly searches. I threw a few articles on it and its ranked 7. My income is from my seo company, but these forums have inspired me to find a domain with potential.

Is this site worth something based only on the fact that it gets that many exact searches per month? Any information would he cool.

Sure it is worth something if it gets that many searches per month and the income potential is decent (i.e. you can monetize it with adsense / CB / CPA).

Do a little work on it and get that #1 spot and then once the site has some decent revenue stream, flip it for 6-8x the revenue.
Or you can keep it to yourself and keep expanding it.

It depends on how competitive the keyword is. If it has more than 500,000 results it may be harder to rank for.

Also use a tool like Google KW tool or Market Samurai.

    Timewave, try harder next time.

Adam, glad you will get your laptop soon, did you look at CPC for your EMD? Think about your keyword and articles you threw on your domain. Are they helpful, motivating, calling to action or just gibberish? If you can move your audience you can influence them to buy something or sign up somewhere and make money for youself. And throw in sign up form to collect mails.

Well, I havent done any off page SEO. Writing is my strong point so I wrote 5 good articles for the site, which has it ranking where it is.

I made the site a personal blog that i think people will find interesting for now. Im just concerned about it not getting much traffic. Just a few uniques a day, which is weird for such a popular search term.
