EMD in keyword VS Aged Domain?

Hi guys I have a 7 year old domain what is the best technique to get better rank in serp:

-use the age of the domain and then create multiple pages (For rank) on the same domain:

generic-old-domain[dot]com/key1.php
generic-old-domain[dot]com/key2.php
generic-old-domain[dot]com/key3.php
ecc.

or create a new domain for each keyword?:

key1.com
key2.com
ecc..

The aged would be much of a better bet with keywords for category pages.

Fro my own experience, I think you are better off going with the aged domain and then having a sub page with your keyword as opposed to starting off with a brand new domain with the keyword. I just purchased a 5 year old domain and have been finding that my link building techniques have been working better than for an EMD that I purchased last month. Ranking for same niche and keywords. Ended up just using my EMD to provide a link back to my aged one.

Search engines rank PAGES not SITES. And typically if 1 of your pages is "trusted" to be ranked then you will get other pages on that domain to be trusted to be ranked easier. Your 7y/o domain can be looked upon as more authority and updated more frequently than a couple "thinner" sites w/ posts/pages here and there.

Short answer: 7 y/o domain FTW!

I had an opposite effect, but one site testing can't tell a thing.

It's an interesting question OP got there, is there anyone who tested it widely? are there other people who can share their results?
(assuming same amount of posts, same keywords, same link building techniques etc.)
