Hi

I am going to start in a new niche soon, and are in the phase of looking for a suitable domain.
My main keyword has ~6000 local searches, and has a fairly weak competition.

I wanted an EMD for my main keyword, but my headache now, is all the good ones are already taken. There is no site up on either of the domains, and they are listed for sale. Though I don't want to pay a minor fortune for the domain.
My situation now is that
mykeyword.com/net/org is taken
my-keyword.com/net is taken, but my-keyword.org is available.

Would the available .org domain be something to go for, or should I go with a lower rated TLD such as mykeyword.co?

I suggest you get a mykeywordsuffix.com, like mykeywordblog.com. Check here for suffixes.

Thanks Aty.

I will consider a suitable suffix.

I though would like some more insights on this :-)
What does others say?

Go for the my-keyword.org if you think it has a nice CTR.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I am liking the idea of using a prefix more and more.
A bit more about my idea.
I am going to make a site in an adult niche.
Users will be able to sign up for an account, and add content suggestions themselves, these will of cause be moderated before publishing.
I am looking at two different prefixes.
mymykeyword.com (don't mind the 2x my).
freemykeyword.com

What do you think would work best?
