I am looking at a niche with only these two domains available. Which one would you go for?

Example:
makemoneyonline.co or make-money-online.net?

Can someone tell from experience?

thanks!

Its better you go with .co domain i have ranked several .co EMD domains easily with nominal SEO efforts

G00gle does not ignore hyphenated (-) terms. If G00gle encounters a hyphen in a search term, like make-money-online, it searches for the term:

1. with the hyphen, e.g. make-money-online
2. without the hyphen, e.g. makemoneyonline
3. with the hyphen replaced by a space, e.g. make money online

You will not get the same EMD benefit with a hyphenated domain as with a non-hyphenated domain. If you really want an EMD, then preference would be: .com, .net, .org. If these aren't available, then add a meaningful suffix or prefix, e.g. makemoneyonlinetoday. com.

The final point to note is that having an EMD is only one of over 200 factors in G00gle's algo, and can typically be used for long(er) tail terms. Don't get too hung up on it if you can't get it, especially if you are building a long(er) term brand.

You are right.. ! EMD can just be counted as an added bonus but if there are not .com, .net or .org EMD domains, go for a .com domain with a suffix or a prefix. Eg: makemoneyonlinez.com or makemoneyonline90.com
