Does anyone know exactly how Youtube counts this? What I can gather from embedding is there is definitely views generated from embeds on the videos. I'm pretty sure in some cases giving the video exposure from the website has caused them to go viral on Youtube. I just have absolutely no idea how Youtube count the views.
For example, I upload a video to my yt channel, it will get 2000-3000 views, but if I upload it to my yt channel, embed it on my website, push traffic to it, lets say 100k uv from my own site, the youtube video will get somewhere around 20-30k views. Is that being counted from the website, people clicking to yt from the youtube logo button on the video, not actually any of the traffic from my site, and all from youtube because their bumping it up because of the traffic i'm sending the embed? Any help would be much appreciated.
