Embedded Videos on Website Not Counting Views?

I have my website with over 100 videos that play embedded all over for content support promoting my products. I really try not to direct actual visitors to youtube because youtube will place competing products next to my videos. I also don't put ads on my videos because I have a product to sell.

So, I try my best to use YouTube to attract people inward TO MY SITE and view my videos mostly there. Works fine.

These videos at YT don't seem to count the thousands of views they get from my site embedded, counting to the video itself. ( WHY IS THAT ) Shouldn't they be gaining counts when viewed while embedded on a site?

are they set to autoplay?

yeah - autoplay = your views won't count

With YouTube's new updates it goes down a little like this:
Views on YouTube - about 1 : 1
Embedded views on another site [not auto play] - about 10 : 1
Embedded views on another site [auto play] - 100 : 1 or not counted at all
