Embed video with different player ?

Hi,

What's the policy of website like youtube or pornhub about sharing their content but with a different player, so no ads, no "similar content" ect...
I didnt find anything, if someone have any informations or encountered the same problem/question.. I would be grateful.

I'm not sure about PornHub, but I tried to quickly research this scenario for YouTube, although the only content I found that mentions anything similar is from the JW Player website:

This example uses the official Chromeless player API from YouTube to play a video inline. Several YouTube features, like the preview image and quality selection, are supported. The YouTube watermark cannot be removed though, plus YouTube reserves the right to place advertisements into these videos. In addition, the use of JW Player's advertising plugins with Youtube content is unsupported. This violates Youtube's terms of service and JW Player does not condone or test for this scenario.

With this in mind, it's either against their TOS (especially if it removes their ads), or acceptable assuming that it does not affect YouTube's ads on their embedded videos (if the video has ads).
