Embed video - but not the whole video

Hi everyone,

I'm curious if anyone knows how to embed a youtube video on my site but:

1) Only show the portion desired (for example, from 1m30 sec until 5m; but not showing the start or end)
2) NOT allow the user to click off the page and onto youtube.

I did it once before, and I was able to get the video to START where I wanted, but the user had the ability to move the slider back beyond the point and listen to the start of the video, if so motivated. I'm looking for a method that removes that ability.

Why don't you just trim the video with basic editing software and then upload it yourself?

On the share tab you use start point and end point
Then when you embed use old embed code and use edit delete option in html so when it's posted they cannot move slider.

yea there are a lot of options for the embed code now, just tick the boxes you want and youtube changes the code
