I'm looking for a way to embed a video to my website and have it auto-play.
Preferably using a video hosting website which does not send visitors straight back to their website if they as little as click on the video (youtube).

I want to do this to save bandwidth.

So if anyone knows a way let me know :thumb:

nope. you usually have to dl the video and play it from your site if you dont want the click to be redirected back to the OG site (youtube) and if you want auto play, your host may have to approve this, as i spent 3 hours scratching my head one time with host gator before i realized it wasnt on my end. gl

Cool thanks,
I just found out that Vimeo lets you embed and you only go back to their site if you click on their logo so that's much better.
So I'll look into that site however I think its noncommercial only. But it will do.

So having videos autoplay is only possible if you're on a dedicated / VPS?

Upload your video on this website 3w.webscutest.com and then embed it wherever you want and will autoplay automatically and if the user clicks on the vid nothing will happen.Only the play/pause button is active for the user, nothing else. also there's no logo on the embeded vid.
Hope this helps.Good luck.
