Hi,

I have set up an email address for one of my websites something like [email protected]

The trouble is i've only just started using it, im testing it on myself and all emails are going straight to the junk folder unless i mark them as safe.. Is there any tips on getting it to go the inbox as this will prove to be a massive disadvantage if all emails are going to peoples junk folders before they have even read one email from me!

Thanks in advance.

Make sure you enable DKIM and SPF records for the domain from which the mails are being sent.

Sorry if im missing something here is this done in the cpanel? Or within the email client, im not 100% sure on how to do this.

Thanks

with so much spam emails business become hard !! perhaps your domain has been used in the past and being spammy at this time.. check it

This is how you do it in cPanel.

Hope this helps.
Thanks, I've enabled them now but i get a message after saying In order to ensure that SPF or DKIM takes effect, you must confirm that this server is an authoritative nameserver for ''mywebsitewashere'' If you need help, contact your hosting provider.

Whats the next step in confirming that the server is a authoritative nameserver for my website?

Is there anything else that can help other then the above? (i have implemented the above, thankyou for the suggestion)

So is there anything else?

What do your messages look like? Depending on what you're actually doing you might not be able to get a decent inbox rate without paying for a special mail server.

make sure you dont have spam keywords in the body or subject -

Well its the confirmation email people get from me when signing up.
Any other ideas? Could it be my hosting provider?

I too am having a similar issue my emails to people are going to their junk folder! And my account is brand new never spammed anyone?!

Well this is a "to confirm your email,"email so they havent subscribed yet until they confirm so there cant be an unsubscribe yet!

Anybody got any ideas or is this something that everyone has to live with?

I dont know if you must have certain information in your emails for them to pass filters or not?
