I have done a lot of reading on how emails get flagged as spam but it's been a while back and I have a few questions before my team sends some emails tonight. First off our plan is to send out about 500 emails. They will all be the same email content except for the company names will be included and contact names where we have them. I attempted to purchase 50 phone verified email addresses through fiverr and I no longer believe the gig is going to be filled so I am without email addresses to send from at the moment. We were also hoping to use Tor for IP's because although it's slow it would suffice for our needs. We just realized Tor blocks all email traffic so IP Addresses are a new issue.
What we have:
- Mailing list of 500
- Text/HTML MIME email
- 2 Virtual private servers (one includes 9 ip addresses)
- A programmer who should be able to write any necessary code to handle emailing with IP Addresses
What we need:
- Email addresses to send from
- IP Adresses
Questions:
- How many emails can we send from one IP Address without drawing attention?
- How many emails can we send from one email address without drawing attention?
- Should we make it a point to always use the same IP Address when sending from a specific email account?
- Does leaving some time between each batch(let's say 20 emails) help our odds of hitting the inbox?
- Do we need a specific type of IP Address to safely hide our VPS's IP when mailing?
- Where is a good/quick place to buy IP Addresses for emailing?
- To buy email addresses?
We need to make every attempt to not get these VPS's blacklisted so any additional information you can give us would be great.
