    1. I read a post where he said to do zip submits instead of email submits as the conversion rate is 4 times as high. Is this what I should do?

    2. I'm kind of confused by the quality to expect from zip submitting with content locking. How can I get a bunch of zip submit conversions but then have people actually sign up for the offers eventually so I don't get banned? What strategies do you guys use when content locking to make sure the quality is high enough?

mix in a lot of whitehat traffic into it, or find incentive zip submit, the payout might be lower but you wont risk your account over it either

Since it sounds like you dont have much experience, I would just promote offers that allow incentive traffic. If you're using a CPA with a built in content locker than you can assume that they definitely allow incentive traffic.
