First up I never know which forum my questions should go in… so any suggestions for this post – might help me put things in the right place in the future?
Ok. So, I got an email list checked… nice and cheaply… I got back a lot of greylisted emails. These were in the do NOT send list. I am using a bulk emailer [inside which I am sending from gmail accounts] to send the emails.
With that in mind... I wondered what I should do?
1, leave them in the do not send – and move on
2, Just the greylisted emails – put them through a more expensive validation service – like zerobounce.
3, Slowly send to the greylisted emails – but from a normal email address [not the bulk send out ones] – like maybe the email of the domain of the business I am promoting. Maybe sending out 5 – 10 email a day.
My presumptions are… wrong or right…
In regards 2, zerobounce will give me a better answer to whether to send them or not. I’m not even sure if zerobounce gives ‘greylisted’ as a response to emails. So maybe they will give me a better answer…. And the cheaper service will save me a fortune by passing all the other emails [for a lot less money]
In regards 3, is that the emails [that are greylisted] if I send them from a normal [domain address] email... the email account can follow the resend rules and get through.
