    Hello,

    one quick question.

if your network says email traffic only for a specific ad, can they tell if it is from a website that is using a double meta refresh and not from an email?

    tks

If you use a double refresh, they will see nothing as a referrer. Blank. While this won't give you away (they have no way to find the site), seeing too many blanks may cause them to ask questions. Or maybe not. Just have a good answer ready (I use an extra click tracking script blah blah) in case they ever ask.

i believe that if a user clicks in an email there will be an email ref url like

    Code:
      http://kr.f701.mail.yahoo.com/ym/ShowLetter?MsgId=3707_32768_5793_1304_780_0_3_1438_3726485532&Idx=6&YY=5205&y5beta=yes&y5beta=yes&inc=25&order=down&sort=date&pos=0&view=a&head=b&box=Inbox

I haven't had any trouble yet. Oh, and I don't think that if someone was reading their email on an HTTPS site it would show a referrer.
