I am getting a ton of junk emails lately and "spam assassin" doesnt do shit. Is there some sort of anti spam software or script i can install on my server that will fix this? I tried putting my email into gmail, which doesnt seem to download all my emails but their filter works great..
please make recommendations on how you counter email spam on servers!
    thanks

Most of the people within the music industry are using Spam Arrest. Also, maybe you can use Google Gmail business?

The advantage of Google Business is the quality of the SPAM filters. I have used paid Gmail before and most of the emails were filtered as expected.

lol just looked at how it works. It makes users verify themselves before mail gets through. 1) thats terrible, but 2) my server does that for free!

Some people like it, others not. It really depends on what your targets are... Did you noticed that Spam Arrest requires the first time verification; once an email has been 'whitelisted' - they will go right into your email box? This will not be a solution of if you're expecting a lot of emails from different addresses.
