Hi guys,
What is your preferred (cheapest, or free ;-) ) combination of tools to:
- scrape targeted business emails considering titles / industries / company size - from LinkedIn or otherwise (or auto-creates from scraped domains by adding various formats - [FirstName]@ , [FirstLastName]@ etc.
- then considering how many false emails will be, instead of using verification tools, I wonder if there is any script and method I can run myself to verify them. - maybe send them some general message from a server that won't flag me :-) and exclude bounces?
- send them with automation (don't want to do it with my own SMTP setup), as I need automation (if prospects replied move them to sequence 2), have multiple email accounts for rotation ideally AI built feature for synonimization of the content i the email so it doesn't get flagged, has to handle handles unsubscribes, automatically filter responses that detect unsubscribe, have some minimal contact management. I need something like Instantly but way cheaper, plus setting up multiple email accounts with Instantly is a hassle, and they constantly stop sending due to some errors. Anybody uses SendGrid? Does SendGrid do all the above?

What is your best workflow and tool-set for all the above?

Step 1:
There are some old tools which are still working with good proxy support. Like ScrapBox , Serpdigger , Linkedin Extractor ETC.,

Step 2:
Set up mail.ru as a bounce handler.

Step 3:
Leaf sender. PHP based and open source.

Only scrap tools come with a 7 to 14 day trial. You can reset them again using different RDP, or they come with a daily 2k scrap limit per day.

Good luck :)

For cheap email prospecting: use tools like Apollo or snov.io for scraping, run open‑source SMTP verification scripts (e.g., Email Verifier) to cut bounces, and send via affordable cold‑email platforms like MailerLite + Lemwarm for rotation/automation, SendGrid alone won’t handle full sequencing or reply filtering.

I've had success with using Hunter and Email List Validator for scraping and verifying targeted business emails. For automation, I've used Mailgun and AWS SES, which offer competitive pricing and reliable delivery. However, I'm curious to know more about Leaf sender, as it seems like a promising open-source solution. Can you share more about your experience with Leaf sender, and how you handle email rotation and content synonimization to avoid getting flagged? Additionally, have you considered using any AI-powered email tools, such as Lemlist or Mailshake, which offer advanced features like email personalization and follow-up automation?
