email marketing...

have been reading alot about email marketing both on this forum and outside...

after 1000 suggestions to make an own list this is what i did.

I have around 1-5k my own email list that i want to send my CPA offers to.

I have a bunch of tools that i found on internet, Words to use, ip blacklist , email scanner etc etc etc.


now to my question...I think i missunderstood this point here people say its illegal to email people that have not signup for " newsletter" to that kind of CPA, am i right?

If im not wrong, having a " unsubscribe button" at end of email wont get me in trouble....

also i read about people having xx.xxxxx email lists etc that could face serious illegal things.


i only have a few K , 1-2000k How risky is this to mass email these people?


these emails are taken fom same niche as my cpa offers.....

do i email these 1 a day? once a month?

please help me out guys

according to CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, if you didn't ask the people to give you the permission to send them promotional emails, then what you do is illegal in the us, but this can be different in other countries, with different laws or no regulation at all, but they are gray zones for example in the us the purchase of an email list is illegal, but renting an email list is not, that could be an option for you.

In what niche is your list? You could probably make more money with other stuff such as client consulting or promoting products/webinars..?
As for the CPA thing, I seriously doubt you would get into any kind of trouble. But CPA will burn people from your list. If possible, you should avoid it. (It can be profitable, though)

It will completely depend on the niche for sure. But the best way to approach it is to offer something free in exchange for their email.

Well, the question is: Is there a company that will allow mass emailing? Does anyone know companies that offer to send mass emails for rented, harvested or purchase emails?? I know one already but all gmail/yahoo/aol emails are blocked.

why do you need a service if you can have your own SMTP server and send everything you want to anyone.

Are you kidding me? Unless you have better idea for not getting blocked, yeah?

it just a question of know how it is possible but extremely difficult for a newbie a good list play a rule of 60% for making money it all about the list the other stuff you can learn how and you can filter a shity list but it a bit cost intensive so either you pay a lot and then you don't need to know anything or you pay the minimum and have to know everything

Well, this said list has been purchased from INFOGroup & D&B! Nonetheless, don't what you're talking about per your reply. It would be nice if period or commas are used in your sentence. Forget I even replied. Thanks and good luck!

I know it is legal I mean about

because many services for email marketing is growing and go to the IPO
