I'm complete newbie when it comes to email marketing and would really appreciate an advice from experienced members.

I got quite good list of few thousand emails and we sent our first testletter using iContact and Mailchimp. We did few bucks with sales and basically quite happy with the start. Mailchimp performed better but they blocked us when trying to send second email with different offer, should have been offer from same niche or something.

Anyway, now we are thinking of scaling it and buying co-reg leads. I understand that the quality will be a lot worse than with our own list, but it's more easy to scale if it works. The problem is, what mailing service to use? Or use VPS and some mailing software? If so, any good software you could recommend? The problem, as I understand it, is to staying out from spam folder - any tips for that? If using your own VPS setup, how many proxies to use? Any other advice for the setup?

I'm not asking anyone to spoon feed me, just asking to get some basic tips and to point me in right direction. I tried to search, but didn't really find what I was looking for.

Hey domainmadness, there is a lot of potential in using purchased contacts to produce leads and your concern about landing in the spam folder is valid. It?s best to use an email software that allows the sending of emails to cold contacts. This would increase deliverability rate and get your emails to the inbox. Our clients at Clickback have had amazing success in using our Email Lead Generation software ? we actually use it in-house for our own marketing campaigns, too. I work for the company, but I can tell you that email is our top peforming tactic. There's a free software demo available on our website (clickback.com) that you can check out (if you'd like)

You can either buy leads or generate leads through whois tools. For an intuitive email marketing tool, I suggest MailChimp, I think it allows 10,000 emails free per month.

Well there are many tools from where you can send free emails. Just search in Google.
