I try it in the lounge :-)

I am not talking about spamming per se, I am talking about email lists. We have found it extremely difficult to email our current customers. And our customers like our yearly email (with discount code).
Some email providers consider a 1% (no kidding!) bad email rate unacceptable and block you. This means, if 1% of your emails from this provider (@providername.com) are out of date then all your emails get blocked.
This is totally insane. I is not possible to keep an email this up to this level.

Any experience, advice with email? Emailing as a service?

Best, Michael

Michael, is the ESP is blocking you, the receiving network, or both? An ESP block issue has an easy solution. Utilize a dedicated network ESP like Ezine Director. Shared service ESPs have serious restrictions and limitations because all of its customers share a pool of IPs and domains. A dedicated network platform provides a set up unique to and specifically for the customer. A block issue from a receiving network is a more complex issue. And, frankly, it can only be identified and resolved if you utilize a dedicated network. Once on a dedicated platform, you know what problems are yours and not "shared" problems from other senders.

Hello Michael,

When you say 1% bad email rate, you're talking about the bounce rate? In that case, you can use some tools to check the deliverability of your list such as:

EmailListVerify
Neverbounce
Zerobounce

It will verify your mails in bulk and generate a clean list that shouldn't bounce. That way you're making sure that your emails deliver.
