Hey Guys,

I need help with 2 items. I need a good email hosting company which will allow bulk emails, say up to 5k-10k a day. (yes I am complying with spam laws but I am sending the emails to lists that I buy)

and 2 I need a program to manage Unsubscribes and track undeliverables.
Mailchimp and Constant contact are bitchy about sending emails to people unless they are verified, even if you're following the can-spam laws.

Thanks

I can heartily recommend Mailchip, yes they try to encourage you to double-opt-in people to your lists. But they do have bulk-upload methods to help move new customers in (and its certainly possible from their API). If you can comply with CAN-SPAM then there's no reason not to use MailChimp or similar services like Aweber etc. and they are all cheap-enough.

I would not use mailchimp/aweber/those ones for your bought opt-ins.

They really don't like purchased lists and will ban you for too many bounces or spam reports.

Personally I use a dedicated SMTP server with 5-20 domains, and just send the emails through each domain on a custom IP.

Rotate the IP's and domains as they get blacklisted (if they do).

It costs me about $120/month for the server another $10/domain, and then a little more for the extra IP's, and other small stuff.

All in all, I can send around 100,000 per day, but that's using a custom program. I would assume something like interspire would work similarly on the same setup.

How much you can earn from 100,000?

I am familiar with setting up an smtp server on your computer and sending emails directly from your computer. I've done that before and obviously it won't work in bulk because as you mentioned the IP gets blacklisted.

I'm not familiar with how to run 1 smtp server but deliver messages through several domains/ips, and how to mange the rotation.
Thanks for the info so far. I need to keep this somewhat simple because I'm playing the president as well as all marketing and sales roles for my company right now

I would assume btw that a vps would work as a server, and I've used berman hosting for 15$ a month with success.

So i can see there are already pretty much effective information shared. Anyways Great information shared thanks every one here..!
